Created by the private firm Qforma, with USA Today newspaper. A little unclear how those listed were selected from the full 30% of specialists nationwide would otherwise qualify to be on the list. Influential related to patient volumes and implied referrals from other doctors. No details of credentials. Qforma sells the full list to corporate clients. Published October 2010
