Results and statistics from over 27,000 in-person interviews during 2017 about people’s use of alternative medicine such as yoga (over 14%), meditation, and chiropractors. Shows growth from 2012. Older surveys may address echinacea, fish oil, glucosamine, homeopathic treatment, naturopathy and more. In the 2007 survey, about 38% of adults overall used some form of CAM (50% for American Indian/ Alaska Native). Over 17% of US adults used CAM for a back pain problem.
