Gallup Poll shows the public’s confidence in healthcare slipped in 2022. It found 38% of people had a Great Deal or Quite a Lot of confidence in the medical system in 2022. This 6-point drop continues its slide from its 30-year peak in 2020 (51%). Confidence in many institutions fell in 2022. Compared to other institutions, high confidence levels were seen for small business (68%) and the military (64%). Confidence in police slipped to 45%, but remained higher than in the medical system.
