Find New York heart survival rates, hospital ratings and surgeon ratings in this adult cardiac surgery report. Compare in-hospital/30 day mortality rates by hospital name and surgeon name. Number of cardiac surgery cases and deaths shown for adult heart bypass (CABG) and aortic or mitral valve surgery patients. Risk-adjusted mortality data, observed rates versus expected death rates, 2016 to 2018. Isolated CABG observed mortality was 1.48% in 2018. Overall valve surgery mortality averaged 2.80% (2016-2018). For aortic valve replacement, the death rate was 1.54% (2016-2018). Readmission rates are shown by hospital as well.
