Texas Hospital Infections and Adverse Events

Find number of infections at Texas hospitals for 2021. Actual numbers are compared to predicted numbers (based on case mix) for CLABSI (Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infection), and for some types of surgical site infections (SSI) such as colon surgery or hysterectomy. In addition, each hospital reports the occurrence of preventable adverse events (PAEs) such as a fall, a deep bed sore, an object left in the patient after surgery, collapsed lung, an attempted suicide.
