Read reports of the National Study of Long-Term Care Providers. Surprising report on residential care residents, a majority of whom need bathing or walking assistance. In addition, in small homes (4 to 25 beds), a majority have Alzheimer’s or other dementia; and need dressing or toileting assistance as well. (See Brief # 299, Feb. 2018).
