Help Guide for the Ratings, Report Cards and Credentials Category
The Ratings section of Consumer Health Ratings provides links to professionally prepared reports showing specific performance for hospitals, surgery centers, nursing homes, health insurance plans, clinics, and other healthcare organizations. In some cases, free reports are also available on specific physicians and surgeons – by name.
Report Preparation
Reports prepared by government, accrediting bodies, business coalitions, hospital associations, insurance-related groups, non-profit professional societies, for-profit corporations and the like, all use different methods. Their report formats are not always easy to read. We work to find the best of what is out there, and get you to it with as few steps as possible, so you can make informed decisions about your health care.
